Chambermaid for the day...

Am off today...
Didn't do anything much...
Woke up at abt 1015hrs and realised that I gotta send IS to hospital.. He's gonna be hospitalised for today for some test before going for his reconstruction of his knee.. He's been having the pain for years!!

Went to Pasir Ris after getting ready, slept in the train. When I reached there, he was still sleeping soundly, Tired I guess cos he worked afternoon shift last night and finished work only abt 0230hrs.
I woke him up, then helped him pack his bag for his toiletries, hp battery charger, undies and some other paperwork stuffs.

Took a bus ( cos we cant ride, & it's gonna be parked there for days!! ) and when we reached CGH, had lunch first before reporting to the Patient Admission Centre. I stayed there and accompanied him the whole day. It's all because of love!! *lol*
The nurse gave him a handheld battery operated shaver and asked him to shave off his hair near his thigh and knee area. We started laughing as I helped him shave his 'leg hair' and less than 5 minutes later, the battery went dead.
We tried to sneak out halfway, but the male nurse shouted out loud, "Mister, you have to wait till the doctors come and check you out before leaving anywhere!"
I was like, "what? the doctors wanna check my boyfriend out?" and we both started laughing again. The way the Filipino guy said it with his voice is so god damn funny!!
We watched tv after that and soon afterwards, visiting time was alredy over and I was asked to leave. So sad... sob.. sob.. sob..
I kissed him goodbye and went home staright after that... There goes my day, good times end real fast..
I missed him already and I wished I could stay over and be by his side.. Too bad I have a morning flight to Jakarta tomorrow and gotta tuck in early. But still I cant sleep thinking of him...
* sigh *
I never knew I was so weak. But too err is human....
Am glad you guys are all by my side.. He's not gonna be able to walk for the next few months and I am gonna be there to support him.

The pics are up for you guys to view, nothing much today, was asked to switch off my digicam in the hospital earlier... Funny why.. Its not as if its goona interrupt in the "navigation system" or something like that right????

The Day!!

Well...
Its a brand new day and its ending too!!
Came back from flight late last night.. Reached home abt 0025hrs and felt too tired, so I didnt update.. Watched tv with some of the kids b4 falling asleep...

On board, I did a welcome song for all the passengers and they were clapping and cheering for me!!! Other than that, nothing much happened except there were China passengers on board ( as usual ) on our Bangkok flight and wat surprised me most was there was someone wearing tudung!! & she was from Kunming, Republic of China. She was a little paranoid about eating our meals at first as she was afraid that it was not Halal..
My in-charge called me in and she spoke to me in Mandarin... ( luckily I could speak fluently )
Conversation goes like this : -
( after being translated in English )

Me : Yes mem, how can I help you?
Her : Sorry, but is the aircraft food "Halal"?
Me : Yes, it is mem.
Her : Are you a Muslim?
Me : Yes mem. I am one.
Her : Islam's ur religion?
Me : Yes mem.
( By now, I got a little irritated, but I smiled as broadly as I could )
Her : You read prayers and pray 5 times a day too?
Me : Yes mem. ( whispers in my heart - but not all the time )
Her : Do you recite a line before every meal?
Me : Yes mem. Of course I do.
Her : Can you recite it for me?
Me : Sure. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim....
Her : Oh, now that I hear you saying it, I am so relieved that there is someone who has the same religion as I am.
Me : Its my pleasure mem...
And then, I walked away....

Its really funny, but you know they were even more piased than we all are. It brought a little "kesedaran" in me... But I forgot all about it later... =)
Upon touching down in Bangkok, the ground staff gave me my KFC.. He bought me one whole tub of KFC and there was 10 pieces of chicken in it!!!

Before disembarkation into Singapore, one passenger came up to me and passed me a small little plastic bag. He asked us to go get a few pieces of tissue paper. Being stupid and blur, I went to get it without asking why.
When I went back to his seat, he passed me a few pieces of fried grasshopper!!! I got shocked but kept calm. He told us to try it and said it was nice. I brought it home and fried it again this morning... Not bad!!!

This evening, I stayed home and did nothing until about 1730. Met Hanin and Priya in town to celebrate Lynn's birthday. We decided to go for dinner at Seoul Garden. Before that, me & Hanin was looking high and low for a small little cake enough for the 4 of us to finish it up!!!
We ate and ate and ate and stayed till it closed!! Can you imagine the four of us came at 1830 and left at 2200!!! Big eaters huh??!!

The rest is history and............. the pics are here for you to view!!!
( that is to keep the story short... that's why )

Sit back and enjoy......
